CCCR Participates In Relay for Life
Apr 02, 2008 :: 11:41 am The Center for Cancer Care and Research is participating in the American Cancer Society’s fundraiser, Relay for Life. Patients, their families and staff are all involved in a variety of activities to raise funds. We will be participating in the walk at Lafayette High School on May 30th and 31st. Employee Appreciation Award
Jun 04, 2007 :: 06:04 am Beginning June 2007, The Center for Cancer Care and Research has announced an "Employee Appreciation Award" will be given on a quarterly basis replacing our previous Employee of the Month. This award will identify an outstanding Employee who was nominated by a fellow employee demonstrating exceptional qualities in his/her position.
The CCCR is pleased to announce Kristen Fisher as our first recipient of this award. Comments in her nomination state "Kristin is very enthusiastic about her job, always very detailed oriented and considerate of all patients and her fellow co-workers." Congratulations Kristin!
CCCR Physician Receives Top Honors From The Wellness Community
May 16, 2007 :: 07:48 am Dr. Nelida Sjak-Shie, a physician with The Center for Cancer Care and Research, will be honored at this year's Celebration of Hope gala with the Marsha Wolff and Tina Borchert Inspiration Award. Dr. Sjak-Shie will be honored for serving on The Wellness Community's Professional Advisory Board as well as her tireless efforts in making a difference in the St. Louis oncology community. The Gala will be held Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark. Congratulations Dr. Sjak-Shie! back to top
Employee of the Year Choosen at TCCCR
Mar 29, 2007 :: 01:56 pm Congratulations to Rita James for receiving Employee of the Year at The Center for Cancer Care and Research. Rita does Medical Transcription for the Washington, Missouri office and was very appreciative of her award. Rita responded to this honor by stating "when someone asks me where I work, I'm proud to say CCCR and for the first time in my life, I love coming to work everyday."
